My friends,

Some time ago, I wrote several books that centered around ordinary people who lived ordinary lives, yet encountered circumstances that expanded their consciousnesses and forced them to recognize the underlying web of connections with all other souls on this earth.

Throughout the years many of you who read these books have stayed in touch with me. You have encouraged me. You have supported me through periods of doubt and you have inspired me with a warmth and steadfastness that humbles me. You wrote me, asking to read the manuscripts for the unpublished stories. Now you tell me that you want your friends and children to have access to these books.

I do, too. I love the people who populate these books. I cherish both their strengths and their weaknesses, because that is what makes them so believable. I wanted to understand how my heroes and heroines would work their way through catastrophic hardships, so I tossed them into dilemmas that most people will never have to face. When they emerged with understandings that helped explain more of life to me, I felt hope.

Since every book ends with the hero/heroine optimistic and full of hope about life and its future, they are true "feel good" books. Everybody can identify with someone in these books because everyone is in them.

My books rest on a concept called responsibility. I see that it is not enough to know that I am responsible, to recognize and admit my responsibility. I feel that my life itself should be lived responsibly and that I should be constantly aware of the effects of my actions and behaviors upon my environment. We are all part of a cooperative, humanitarian venture filled with challenges and revelations, each of us writing our own individual part and knowingly participating in the adventures of a shared soul. That is why I am making these books available at no cost to everyone with a computer. Joy should not have a price tag. If you are attracted to my books, download them and enjoy.
