In the night
When the stars cry out
In the night

In the silent night
When the stars die out
In the blinding light
Of the twining strand
And man
Can steer his course
And knows that he can

In the night
In the silent night

Take a quiet stand

Then step back
Bend
In the afterglow
Of the even flow
And know
That we dream to reveal
All the spokes of the wheel
Spin the spark into flight
From the void
Towards the light

In the night
In the silent night

Take a quiet stand

I.W. Riney

I call down the stars this night
My dreams a sieve
To form
To fan this love
Rekindle flames
To flow what I must give

For I am but a universe
Within each self
Each breath
Lie stars that lust
And drays to trust

Blood pools
There is no death

I.W. Riney

On nights like this
When the rain flames swell
I can taste each breath
I embrace
Each spell
I can crawl inside
And redeem split seams
For the God that I am
Is the God of my dreams

I can walk through walls
And create
Like steel
From the flow that abides
In each slice
Of the wheel
As I call forth life
I've a magical tongue
I can feel through my eyes
And ignite
Me
A sun

As I mend the sky
Through a face of rain
And bathe in streams
Regained
I've named
Down rusty roads
Through dusty towns
Flows Azure Blue
Forms solid sound

And I see at night
As I dream to seam
Through my silver strands
Flows a golden sheen
And a gentle breeze
Like a soft perfume
Flings a lacy haze
That engulfs the room

Through the macro mirrors
Where I tend my years
And the stormy halls
Where I balance fears
I reach forth
With a quiet gaze
And sign my name
To the final page
